About Us
Sunhua is a Saskatchewan company that focuses on organic, natural products. We focus on four products for now, Both of Organic and conventional Milled Flaxseed and Golden Roasted Flaxseed, Flax oil, Quick Oats, and NON-MGO Canola oil. The small focus of our business allows us to really nurture and take care of each individual product, and this time and attention shows in each one of them.
Saskatchewan products are beautifully cultivated and grown, and we want to focus on this, and bring these beautiful, natural, healthy grains to people outside of Saskatchewan, all while creating jobs and building up Saskatchewan’s economy. We love Saskatchewan and our vision is to be the number one food exporter in this province. The products we provide are natural, organic, and high quality, and there are many reasons why this is important to us.
Why Go Natural?
Not only are organic, natural products better for our health, but they are also better for the environment. Organic farming maintains healthy soil, non-organic foods are sprayed with extremely toxic chemicals that kill everything other than the crop itself. This includes the living organisms that a plant needs to grow and make the soil nutrient rich. Once those organisms are killed off, they have to be replaced with synthetic fertilizers.
Organic farming also supports pollinators. Herbicides and pesticides do not differentiate between good and bad bugs, it simply kills them all. Organic farming practices healthy growing techniques that aim to maintain that necessary level of biodiversity, as well as keeping the harmful pesticides from the ocean, and away from our lungs.
SUNHUA Office Grand Opening
The grand opening ceremony for our brand new Sunhua office was held today at GTEC in the Global Transportation Hub.
Visiting a Food Processor in Vancouver
Over the weekend we visited Dayu Asia Pacific Food Company, and explored their processing facilities. This was part of our trip to British Columbia to explore new business opportunities.
Our First Day of Shipment
After lots of planning and commitment, our first order finally came in and it is time to prepare for our grand opening.
Saskatoon Agricultural Fair
Had a great time at the agricultural fair. Got to meet so many great farmers from Saskatchewan.
November Trade Show in Vietnam
Over the month of November, Sunhua participated in various expos and trade shows in Shanghai and Vietnam, including the China International Import Expo on November 10, the Shanghai Global Food Trade Show on the 10-14th , and a Commercial Enterprise Expo in Vietnam on the 17-21st.

Yorkton Pow and Meeting with Suppliers
Over the weekend we met with various suppliers from TA Foods, Grain Millers, and Louis Dreyfus. There was also an exciting Pow-wow event where we had great fun!
